• Arrived without any damage and was very easy to set up. This looks great in my home. Very sleek. I bought this model because I am not a huge white wine drinker. Most coolers I looked at had a 50/50 split for temperature. I like how this one provides two rows for my whites and leaves plenty of room for all of my reds. Temperature seems accurate. • We recieved this Couter Top Wine Refrigerator by Kalamera about 2 weeks ago now. It arrived in a well packaged box ensuring the stainless finish didnt get damaged during transit. Upon removing the fridge, I was amazed at how light it really was. I was expecting a big heavy fridge and its relatively light in weight. The bamboo shelfs were secured with twist ties again ensuring a safe trip through shipping. The first thing I did was to install the handle for the fridge. It was 2 phillips screws with 2 washers, literally took a minute and the fridge was set up…..

• This is a fantastic wine fridge. It holds 12 standard 750 wine bottles. It has no issue fitting slightly wider base sparkling or white wine bottles. The racks slide in and out easily, especially once there is some weight on them. They just slide in slots molded into the inside sides of the cabinet – there are no tracks or rails. If you pull the shelf out too far, it will fall out – so don’t do that!…..

• I really like the product. I was thinking that it will be bigger, but it is very compact and accessible. I cannot hear it running, so it is very nice. You need to open the door at least 90º for the shelves, at it can be a little annoying some times……

• Shipping was a disaster. I was shipped this unit 3 times. On the first two, the back left corner was completely crushed and significantly damaged in the same spot on both. I believe this is likely an issue with the warehouse. On the third one, I specifically requested they check the cooler for damage before sending. Unfortunately, this time there was a huge dent in the door frame, which I strongly believe was caused by the shippers. Fortunately, the customer service was great! They just sent me a new door and I finally had a fully functional unit that was not damaged.

• I really don’t understand all of the negative comments about this product. I read many of the reviews before I purchased this and to be totally honest, here was my experience.
  – to begin with, it was shipped via FEDEX and it arrived 4 days after I ordered it. I did not ask for expedited shipment.
  – the shipping container was a container within a container so you can tell there was special care placed in ensuring the product got there safely and without and possibility of damage. I was very surprised to see the size of the box when it arrived and I thought at first that this was way larger than I anticipated.

• I just moved into a new house. I couldn’t take my old built in cooler that I had in my old place since my new kitchen has no space to put it under. I put this baby in my dining area. The only thing I had issue in the beginning was needing to put the handle on it myself. I had to screw it onto the door but that isn’t hard. I set the bottom at 61 degree for my reds and 57 for my white wine…Good luck you all…love this so far.

• The shelves are close enough together that you will not be able to fit any wider bottles, such as those used for Pinot Noir and champagnes/sparkling wines. A few of my bottles of Zinfandel also had a hard time fitting. But I took out a shelf in the bottom an a shelf up top and they are able to be stacked. • Buying this wine refrigerator was one of the best experiences that I have had buying something that I had little knowledge or information about. I went mostly by the size and reviews, and the fact that it was thermoelectric and quiet. In short, it required almost no assembly (just screwing on the handles) and achieved our set temperatures (50 for the whites and 59 for the reds) within a few hours and has held them for a week now with no problem.

The loudest thing you hear is the fan perhaps for 30-60 seconds at a time every hour or so. Our home is set to 80F in the Houston summer, and the unit is handling it quite well
