• This is a very nice looking wine cooler. It is not perfectly silent, makes a light buzz, so if you want it to be in a place where you must have silence don’t get this one. However, mine is in my kitchen so no problem if it makes a little noise.

• Have had for a few days. First impressions: delivery was great, they would not bring into house but packing was good, no issues or damage. Out of the box great looking unit, easy to set up. • The good….Not cellar grade cooler for long term storage. Instead it great cooler for keeping your reds at the right temperature for several months instead of keeping them warm, and then trying to chill them to serving temperature in the fridge before serving.

• Please note, it has only been up and running for a day and I am a first time wine cooler buyer. I bought the unit to store basic wines as I have – up until now – keep my wine in a bedroom closet on a wine rack. Reviews on line via various review sites were quite favorable for this as a budget/first time wine cooler. • Buying this wine refrigerator was one of the best experiences that I have had buying something that I had little knowledge or information about. I went mostly by the size and reviews, and the fact that it was thermoelectric and quiet. In short, it required almost no assembly (just screwing on the handles) and achieved our set temperatures (50 for the whites and 59 for the reds) within a few hours and has held them for a week now with no problem.

• After a lot of research I decided on the New Air AW-121E 12 bottle wine cooler. There are a lot of coolers out on the market and most of them have reputations for poor performance. New Air seemed to have the highest ratings so I went with it. The third party seller Air & Water Inc is great. Free ground shipping was a nice touch, shipped very fast.

• I really love that it’s a smaller type of cooler. It fits 12 bottles, but it doesn’t take up much more room than that. It’s smaller than most standard types of mini fridges. It fits onto a kitchen counter without much room. For that matter, it would fit under most types of kitchen tables without any problems as well. Just remember to let it have space around the cooler itself to allow it to “breathe”.

• Installation was pretty simple, plug it in and screw on the door handle. The screws on the handle are fine, but the holes are not perfectly designed for them to be screwed in by hand (unless you’re really strong) but they went in smoothly with an electric drill. I turned on the cooler and set it to my desired temperature 60 degrees F to keep red wine.

• I just received this to replace a compressor style wine refrigerator which ceased to function. It used to shake and rattle during cycling while the NewAire makes virtually no noise whatsoever. In addition the thermoelectric cooler maintains a constant temperature and draws a fraction of the power of a compressor model.
